Last updated: May 2026 · Applies to IPP, Activate, and Calibrate
These terms govern your use of the IPP, Activate, and Calibrate platforms operated by Module Six Ltd. By creating an account you agree to these terms. Please read them. They are written in plain English.
The Institute of Project Professionals (IPP) and its associated platforms — Activate (activate.ipp.pro) and Calibrate (calibrate.ipp.pro) — are operated by Module Six Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.

You must be aged 16 or over to create an account and use these platforms. By creating an account you confirm that you are at least 16 years old.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not share your account with anyone else.
When you create an account, one set of credentials gives you access to all three platforms — IPP, Activate, and Calibrate. This is the same login across all Module Six services.
You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation, contact us immediately at hello@ipp.pro.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are used in breach of these terms.
IPP membership is structured across five tiers: Student, Candidate, Associate (AIPP), Member (MIPP), and Fellow (FIPP). The features and platform access available to you depend on your membership tier.
Free access to Topic 1 of Activate Module 1. No IPP membership designation. Designed for people exploring the platform before committing.
Access to the full Award pathway in Activate (33 topics, APME assessment). Suitable for sixth form, college, and early-career practitioners.
Full access to all Activate content including the Foundation Certificate pathway. Full access to Calibrate. These tiers require paid membership once payment goes live.
We reserve the right to change the features associated with each tier. Where we make a material change that reduces access you have already paid for, we will notify you in advance and offer a pro-rata refund for the affected period.
You must use these platforms lawfully and in good faith. You must not:
Breach of these requirements may result in suspension or termination of your account without refund.
All course content on Activate, including topic text, practice questions, and assessment materials, is the intellectual property of Module Six Ltd. All rights are reserved.
Your membership gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your own learning. You may not reproduce, distribute, or resell any course content.
IPP framework documents, competency standards, and assessment criteria published on IPP.pro are also the intellectual property of Module Six Ltd unless otherwise stated.
Content you submit to Calibrate — including self-assessment responses, CPD log entries, and evidence submissions — remains yours. By submitting it, you grant us a limited licence to store and process it for the purpose of delivering the Calibrate service to you.
We do not use your assessment or CPD content for any purpose other than delivering the service. We do not share it with third parties except your nominated reviewer, as part of the evidence validation process you initiate.
Paid membership tiers are not yet live. When they open, payments will be processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms of service. Specific pricing and billing terms will be published at that time.
As a consumer in the UK you have a statutory right to cancel a digital service within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not already begun accessing the content. If you have accessed course content, your right to cancel may be reduced. We will handle all refund requests fairly and in accordance with your statutory rights.
We aim to keep the platforms available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may take platforms offline for maintenance, updates, or circumstances outside our control.
We may add, remove, or change features at any time. We will give reasonable notice of changes that materially affect your access or experience.
Our platforms provide learning and professional development tools. We do not guarantee that use of our platforms will result in employment, promotion, or any particular professional outcome.
To the extent permitted by law, Module Six Ltd's liability to you in connection with these platforms is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of our platforms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
The PM for Non-Project Managers (PMNPM) course is available for individual purchase and via B2B seat allocation. Individual purchases grant access to the course content for the period specified at the time of purchase. Access is non-transferable and tied to the account used at checkout.
B2B purchasers receive a set of redemption codes which may be distributed to learners. Each code grants one individual access. Codes have no expiry unless specified at purchase. Unused codes may not be refunded after the standard refund window.
Refunds for individual course purchases may be requested within 14 days of purchase provided less than 20% of the course content has been accessed. After this point, no refund is available. Requests should be directed to hello@ipp.pro.
Formal assessments (including the Foundation Certificate in Project Management) are available once the required number of topics has been completed. Each formal assessment sitting constitutes one attempt. A fee applies to resits, as stated on the assessment hub at the time of booking. The current resit fee is published at activate.ipp.pro/exam-hub.html.
Results are recorded and certificates issued on pass. We do not guarantee any particular outcome. Cheating, use of unauthorised materials, or any attempt to manipulate assessment results may result in immediate account suspension and disqualification from future sittings.
Practice assessments and quick tests do not count as formal attempts and carry no fee.
Organisations may purchase Calibrate licences and invite users to join their account. Users who join an organisation grant their designated reviewer and administrator access to their competency record, CPD log, and evidence submissions for the purpose of professional development oversight.
Users may leave an organisation at any time from their profile settings. On leaving, the organisation loses access to the user's record. The record itself remains with the user.
Organisations may not transfer, export, or retain copies of individual user records after the user has left. Organisation administrators are responsible for ensuring this policy is observed.
Trial accounts are subject to the trial period specified at signup. At the end of the trial, access to team features is suspended unless a paid subscription is started. Individual user records are not deleted on trial expiry.
Each Calibrate account includes a portable record tied to the user's primary email address. This record — including competency assessments, CPD log, and evidence — belongs to the individual user, not to any organisation they may be associated with. Module Six Ltd commits to preserving user records for as long as the account remains active, regardless of changes to organisational affiliation.
Users are responsible for maintaining access to their primary email address. Module Six Ltd cannot be held liable for loss of access to a record resulting from loss of access to the registered email address. Users are encouraged to add a backup email address through their account settings.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. If we make a significant change, we will notify you by email. Continued use of our platforms after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
