Governance
Decisions about IPP standards, qualifications, and membership criteria are made by a governance board that operates independently of Module Six's commercial interests.
The structure
IPP operates with a governance board that includes practising project professionals, employer representatives, and independent members. No single interest group holds a majority. Commercial decisions by Module Six do not override IPP governance decisions on standards and qualifications.
IPP is developed by Module Six, and that relationship is transparent. Module Six funds development and operations. IPP provides a qualification framework and professional home for Module Six products. The governance board ensures that arrangement serves members, not the reverse.
Setting and reviewing qualification standards, assessment criteria, and pass marks
Approving the competency framework underpinning Calibrate and IPP qualifications
Determining membership tier entry requirements and review processes
Handling complaints and appeals that cannot be resolved through normal processes
Overseeing the accreditation of third-party training providers
IPP publishes its assessment standards, pass marks, and competency framework. Transparency is a prerequisite for credibility. If IPP is not willing to show how its qualifications work, there is no basis for asking employers and professionals to trust them.
