Short version: we use only the cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you logged in. No advertising cookies. No analytics. No tracking. No cookie banner required.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. They are used for a range of purposes — from keeping you logged in to tracking your behaviour across the web for advertising.
We use cookies for one purpose only: authentication. We do not use cookies for advertising, analytics, or any form of cross-site tracking.
Our platforms use Clerk for authentication. Clerk sets session cookies that keep you logged in as you move between pages and between our platforms. These cookies are shared across ipp.pro, activate.ipp.pro, and calibrate.ipp.pro — this is what allows a single login to work across all three.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| __clerk_db_jwt | Stores your encrypted session token to keep you logged in | Session / persistent depending on your login choice | Strictly necessary |
| __session | Clerk session identifier | Session | Strictly necessary |
| __client_uat | Detects if you are logged in to synchronise state across tabs | Persistent | Strictly necessary |
Cloudflare, which provides our hosting and infrastructure, may set technical cookies as part of normal web operations (for example, to distinguish between human and automated traffic). These are strictly functional and do not track you across other websites.
Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), consent is only required for cookies that are not strictly necessary — for example, advertising or analytics cookies. Because we use only strictly necessary cookies, we are not required to ask for your consent and no cookie banner is shown.
If we were to introduce any optional cookies in future, we would add a consent mechanism before doing so and update this policy accordingly.
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Be aware that blocking or deleting our session cookies will log you out and prevent you from accessing your account until you sign in again.
All major browsers provide instructions for managing cookies:
